This house is very comfortable with amazing views. We were so excited to have an outdoor fire pit as well as log fire inside
Comfortably sleeps 8 although having only 1 bathroom and 1 toilet was a bit challenging. 1 of the bedrooms is located downstairs which would not be ideal for children but fine for teens and adults. Minimal facilities but enough to get by. We had a fabulous winter stay, having the combustion heater was a great bonus to keep the house toasty warm and with the extra back up of a reverse cycle there were no issues about being cold. A great deck with incredible views. Big backyard that kept our boys active when we were not at the beach, perfect for an Easter egg hunt!
But unfortunately everything else of very poor standard. It’s was very dirty, quilt covers turned over rather than fresh. The bathroom was so bad we wore our thongs when showering, exhaust fan broken, clothesline broken and all of the dining room chairs were rickety. The whole house is in desperate need of professional maintenance, internal walls, skirtings and window sills all dirty and in need of a paint. Window screens missing in the kitchen. The yard is overgrown, unkept and lawn is dead. Nothing like the photos on the website.
Garden was very pretty, view was very good. Close to town and beach. Ideal for a couple wanting a relaxing 2-3 day stay.
Stunning view across the coast and rolling hills. Cosy and warm log fire to sit around with a wine or coffee. Ample logs to use on the fire. Place was clean and tidy. DVD player needs fixing and fan in bathroom needs to work or be more effective. Kids loved outside shower. Would def stay again for the price!
This place was perfect for our week at Normanville over Xmas.
